Over the weekend, they went on a day trip to Ohio to discover and discuss history. The explored their heritage and visited the National Underground Railroad.
Stop the Violence Indianapolis, Inc. was on a Zoom call with the mayor of Baltimore, Newark and Baton Rouge to discuss the use of new techonology that gives recommendations for a city to fight back against violent crime. Indianapolis was used an example for the Community Violence Intervention (CVI)
STVI along with Dr. Valerie McCray from Reset Psychological Services presented to Elevate Indianapolis on the principals of leadership coaching: content free practice and technique. The training gave Elevate staff important considerations when trying to help their audiences, urban youth in Indianapolis.
