Anthony Beverly is a Servant Leader who believes in community. His purpose in life is helping inner city youth become men of God. He was first introduced to community activism at a very early age. Anthony Beverly graduated from Crispus Attucks High School (Indianapolis Public School). Thereafter, he attended Tennessee State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. 

Anthony Beverly’s experiences include over 20 years of youth and family ministry programming, advising, counseling and career planning. Anthony Beverly is the founder of Stop the Violence Indianapolis, Inc.

Pastor Julius Stephens was called to the Ministry in 1990 while attending Agape Christian Center (now Summit Church) and was licensed in 1994 in Fort Wayne, Indiana where Dr. Al Jennings is the pastor. Julius Stephens taught school for 24 years before becoming a full-time pastor.

He attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana where he received a Bachelor’s degree in education and earned a Master’s degree from St. Francis College. Both Pastor Stephens and his wife Carol graduated from the Summit City Christian Center School of Faith.

Brian Shobe Pastor at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN.  Pastor Shobe was Ordained in Nov. 2004. Married with 5 children and 3 grandchildren.  He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Class of 1978 and is the CEO of Advanced Management Solutions, Inc.

Minister Shobe has worked with Stop the Violence Indianapolis, from it’s conception as a ministry. He has been a Friend, Sponsor, Mentor and now serves as a Board Member. Minister Shobe works to help ministries collaborate their efforts to serve the community more effectively.

Chantel Beckwith – is a retired Clerk Sales Associate.  After working for 17 years for the United States Postal Service she decided that she wanted to work more in the community.  Prior to becoming a board member Chantel believed so much in the mission of Stop The Violence Indianapolis, Inc., that she has volunteered countless hours over the past years.  She is enjoying her retirement years, while still volunteering and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
